Second Saturday before School Begins 
at Nelson Street Park, Mt. Olive
Students from all over are invited to come and celebrate the beginning of school with games, food and fun. There is entertainment by local dancers and musicians and a pep rally held by teachers, principals and local leaders.  Prizes are given to help parents purchase needed items for the school year.
Each child from Kindergarten through 8th grade receives a brand new backpack filled with school supplies and a personal care kit.

The event is hosted by the Men of FIC, Mount Olive First PH Church, Mt Olive Parks and Rec Department, All the King's Children and others.
